Web Design/Development

Haskell Lumber, Inc.

I was assigned to create a custom website from the ground up for Haskell Lumber Inc., a general hardware store specializing in lumber and various other building materials. The owners requested the green and tan colors as well as a "woodsy", "log cabin" feel which I integrated into the design. Currently in the design phase, this site will feature the use of a CSS and XHTML-compliant table layout as well as a JQUERY-powered slide show.

Kinsey Shane & Associates

I was assigned to build and develop this site for my employer, Web.com, from the conception to implementation. They stressed the desire for simplicity in the overall look and feel of the site, using sites for companies such as Cornerstone Architects and Mosley Architects as reference points. I incorporated these minimalist elements and delivered a clean and straightforward design that features the use of a full CSS DIV layout and basic Javascript functionality. This site is currently being adjusted in the production stage and will soon feature an image slideshow using the JQUERY library.

Safety

This site was designed for local Tampa Bay punk rockers, Safety. They emphasized that they were on a tight budget, but also the desire for a web presence. They wanted something simple, something that would "get them started" and would leave the option of upgrading in the future a realistic and easily transitionable possibility. The site I delivered to them was received as both aesthetically pleasing and efficient for their needs. This site represents a basic "starter" project for clients with a smaller budget.

Yellowbooks Modification Request Form

A custom form was developed by one of our IT staff members for our corporate partner, Yellowbooks, so that clients could submit requests for changes to our modifications team. After testing the form, upper management noted several errors namely, not submitting a confirmation email notifying the user of a receipt of their submission, and a lack of form validation for required fields. Under a short deadline, I was able to troubleshoot the issues using PHP to send a confirmation email to the user that contained certain fields from the form that they filled out and I was able to integrate the form validation successfully using Javascript.
